What are you longing for in your life?

To move through a difficult period in life, or to release a detrimental behavior. To acquire clarity, a relationship, or a new job. To be at peace with your thoughts, your body, food. To make meaning out of adversity. To develop resilience. To heal physically or emotionally. To develop a spiritual practice.

These possibilities may feel exciting, but they may also feel overwhelming, daunting, or even impossible.

You are not alone. Sometimes we need a guide who is familiar with the forest to help us determine which direction to pursue, and offer tips not just for surviving the journey but enjoying it.

As a well-being coach, I accompany you through the woods. I share skills and insights I have acquired from professional training as well as from traversing my own path--which has been filled with great love and great loss, physical and mental health challenges, and spiritual reckonings.

I will help you design a personal well-being map, navigate challenges, rebound from slips, and develop deep faith in your innate capacity to heal, grow, and live the life you imagine.

LOGISTICS

I typically work with clients for at least six months. We meet weekly to start, or multiple times per week if desired, and transition to every other week when it feels right. We can work in person (office in Park Slope, Brooklyn) or remotely by phone or video.

PROCESS

First we identify your priorities, values, and strengths. You then develop a personal well-being vision, and set short- and long-term goals. Throughout our work together, we will check in about both your vision and goals, and dive deeply into any pressing issues that feel relevant to unpack. It is a dynamic process of continual self-discovery and evolution!

OUTCOMES

Through our work together, you will:

  • Achieve short- and long-term goals

  • Build self-confidence and self-worth

  • Reduce stress, worry, and insecurities

  • Cultivate a harmonious relationship with yourself

  • Strengthen relationships with friends, family, and colleagues

  • Develop resilience

  • Incorporate mindfulness into daily living

COACHING MODEL

As a coach, I meet you where you are, focus on the changes you feel called to make, and invite you to take charge. I help you identify the core values, motivations, and strengths that will support you in cultivating greater well-being. I guide you through effective goal-setting, and navigating obstacles that arise. We develop a relationship built on trust, accountability, honesty, and collaboration. I lovingly challenge and inspire you to go further than you might have alone.

One of the most beautiful gifts in the world is the gift of encouragement. When someone encourages you, that person helps you over a threshold you might otherwise never have crossed on your own.
— John O'Donohue
